A Little Flooding

So we had a pretty awesome tropical storm
that hit our neck of the woods this week.

It dumped a TON of rain...
and had winds around 20-30 MPH
Th storm flooded our driveway and a couple roads around us.
Take a look.

That river is actually our driveway.

What's a person to do when there driveway is flooded?
GUN IT of course!

The big splash on our windshield when
Todd floored it and drove through the mess.

Here is the main road that we take to pull in to our driveway.

Think the ground is saturated much?

Two (usually) little creeks that meet below our property.

Below where the creeks meet is a culvert.
The culvert was a little overwhelmed wouldn't you say.
There is a house on the other side of the water.
Don't ask me how they got out of their driveway.

Below the culvert there is usually a nice little waterfall.
It became a massive waterfall after the storm.

So what do you think?
Not a bad showing for only two days of rain.
Did you have any flooding or scary storms this weekend?
