Okay...I may have lied to you.
You know how I told you about the cookie cake recipe,
and how it was the easiest recipe in the world -
Ya...well I found an easier one (which I didn't think was possible).
There are two ingredients:
1. crushed pineapple 20 oz can
2. angle food cake mix
You take the cake mix and pour it in a bowl.
You then take the pineapple and pour it on top of the cake mix.
Like this.
Then you just follow the directions on the box.
I took my mixer and mixed on low for 30 seconds,
then I mixed for 1 minute on high.
It makes this really frothy bubbly concoction.
See how FLUFFY!
You can kind of see the little pieces of pineapple in this picture.
I poured the ingredients in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Cooked at 350 for 30 minutes and ...
Ta da
Look how yummy!
I put low fat whipped cream on my piece,
Todd added crushed strawberries to his.
I have to say,
it really is pretty good for a super cheap recipe.
Definitely give it a try,
and if you hate it you'll only be out about $3.
Oh by the way, supposedly you can use cherries with this recipe.
I was to chicken to try them the first batch,
but I have them sitting on my counter just waiting for the next cake!
