When I left off yesterday, I showed you the little chart
that was provided to make your garden fool proof
(Hopefully, we'll cross our fingers).
After we had decided what we planted where,
Todd got super busy.
You take potting soil and put it in the two holes.
Todd and I went to a local nursery and purchased
this organic potting soil.
It is awesome, but man is it stinky!
We filled the planter half full and then moistened it with water.
We then filled the planter the entire way up and sprayed it.
You then take the Garden patch with little nutrient patches attached,
moisten them and then put them on top of the soil.
Garden patch going on top of the soil.
We then cut lines through the numbers and the line
where the vegetables were being placed.
After the plants are planted, we then took little green soil pins
and poked them through the Garden patch and in the soil.
The last step was to fill the reservoir up so you don't
have to worry about watering your little garden every day.
It took about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to complete,
but we are loving it so far.
I will be sure to keep you updated as the plants grow.
Here's hoping it works...
cause if it doesn't
I give up!
