Well, I think I found a solution to the problem.
BRILLIANT!
A vertical toilet paper holder.
I can't believe I didn't invent this.
I have just remained in a constant state of
annoyance for the past 20 years.
What do they say, invention is the mother of necessity.
Apparently, our household is not the only one with this issue.
So, what do you think?

That duck tape made me laugh out loud... I think that is an excellent invention.
The tape or the toilet paper holder? Either way, both are viable options.
