I'm not sure that I have pictures of all the horrific hairstyles I sported, but the few that I do have should keep you laughing for hours.
The first haircut that I remember being horrific was from when I was about 6 or 7. When I was little I had beautiful long, curly, golden hair. However, there was a problem...I hated to brush my hair, and I really hated for my mom to brush my hair. To resolve the crying and tantrums that ensued after a lengthy battle of trying to brush my hair, my mom was finally fed up and took me to get a haircut. Not just any haircut, a pixie.
My parents let it grow out a bit, but it had lost it's curl and looked unruly.
Look at those lovely bangs. It gives new meaning to razorcut look.
You would think that this would be as bad as it could get, but oh no.
Ignore the beard and mustache, it was Halloween.
Digging my Dorothy Hamill cut.
I'm not sure which is worse, the hair or the outfit.
Hopefully, my hair looks a little better than it has in the past. At least I'm not cutting my own hair and my mom isn't giving me at home perms.
I hope you have enjoyed my little trip back through memory lane. Please feel free to tell me you have had just as bad haircuts (actually, make me feel better and tell me you've had worse). I'd love to see pictures.

Wow - that made me laugh out loud! I swear that first picture of you on Santa's lap could be Austin!!! :) Now I have to go back and look at old pics to see if I've had a worse hair cut!! I know I've had a worse perm - my one and only!!!!
Todd said the exact same thing about me looking like Austin. Austin actually had a mullet when he was about 4 and could be my twin in that picture.
I doubt your mom would have let you look as bad as I did. I was a tomboy through and through and refused to let my mom wash and comb my hair. So this is what you get!
Some great pictures here. I love pictures of when you guys were younger.
Sad thing is you think you look pretty cool at the time, then you look back at pictures 30 years later and think to yourself, what the heck was I thinking?
