Coming Home & Leaving Again

Oregon was the first half of our vacation.

The kids couldn't get the entire time off from work,

so we came home from Oregon on Monday

and headed up to Fort Bragg on Tuesday.

 

We arrived around 5:30 PM and were welcomed by this.

 

 

The dreary weather didn't get the dogs down though,

they were happy to be on vacation.

 

 

 

Very happy

 

 

We set up camp, went out for dinner and then hit the sack.

We were exhausted from driving so much.

 

We woke up bright and early on Wednesday

and ate a quick breakfast.

 

 

And because the weather cleared up and it was beautiful

we decided to hit the beach.

 

 

 

 

It was perfect.

 

 

I had to mug it up with my kiddos.

They were super thrilled about it,

can you tell?

 

 

The puppies had a great time on the beach,

especially Loki.

 

 

She spotted some seagulls and....

 

 

 

 

She had a great time!

Can you tell by the smile on her face.

 

 

Todd and Alexxa went tide pooling.

 

 

They found hermit crabs,

 

 

Sea cucumbers, starfish, crabs, and numerous other little creatures.

 

When we were finished at the beach, we came back to camp.

 

 

Todd made dinner.

 

It was perfect and...

 

 

Delicious!.
