Todd took me on a little jaunt to Tahoe.
It was so beautiful and relaxing.
There was hardly anybody there.
It was almost like we had the entire town to ourselves.
We arrive at our hotel and immediately ham it up.
Look at the size of this tub. It is 3 1/2 ft. wide and...
6 ft. long.
Yep, that's snow piled half way up our window.
Todd and I enjoyed "swimming" in the bathtub.
It was so huge, almost like the size of a small spa.
After enjoying our tub time, we hopped in bed and got a good night sleep.
Because Todd and I don't ski, and we don't gamble,
the only thing left for us to do was eat, and eat we did!
We woke up, grabbed some breakfast, and then decided to drive around the entire lake
(I think it's like 76 miles, but I could be wrong).
Tahoe was practically a ghost town
(those are the casinos on either side).
Look at that crystal clear, beautiful bright blue water.
Just awesome!
North shore...empty, just like Tahoe.
Look at my patient hubby waiting for me to finish taking pictures.
Homewood Ski Resort (where Todd learned to ski).
We stopped at the Burger Lounge for lunch.
We ate outside on the patio, in the snow.
Wow, look at the size of that hamburger (It's 1 pound of meat!).
It took most of the day to drive around the lake.
After lunch, we headed back to the hotel and took a nap and watched tv.
We had pizza for dinner and then called it a day.
Sunday rolled around, and before you know it, it was time to pack up and check out.
We had breakfast and took one last picture by the lake before we headed home.
One last shot before we leave Tahoe.
It was a truly amazing weekend. I think Todd and I need to do this once a month (wink, wink).
