Wine With the Girls and then the Hubbys

A bunch of gals from work got together and
decided before school started that we
needed to go wine tasting.

There were quite a few of us so we rented a party bus.
It had strobe lights, a stripper pole, anything and
and everything you would imagine a party bus would have.
But we got it for two specific purposes.
First, we all fit in one vehicle,
Second, none of us were at risk of getting a dui.
Win, win.!

We made three different stops.

First stop was Too Good Winery
(I blogged about it before here).

My favorite thing about the place is the art,

and, of course, the cave.

Pretty cool, right?
The wine is ehhh...not my favorite.

Our second stop was Skinner Vineyards.
It was such a beautiful day,
and a beautiful venue.
It was so nice, in fact, I brought Todd back
there two weeks later.

Look at that view.
The wine is good, but my favorite was our last stop,

I was pretty much done for the afternoon when we arrived here.
By the time we got here, we had been out for 4 hours.
I wasn't going to wine taste at all,
but I caved, and boy am I glad I did.
It ended up being my very favorite.
I bought 2 bottles of sparkling wine,
one pomegranate and one almond.
Delicious!

After we were done wine tasting,
we all went back to April's house to meet up with
some of the husbands and boyfriends so we could eat
dinner and play Cards Against Humanity.

Never played?
Don't play it if you are shy, get offended easily,
or don't like being embarrassed.
Nobody in this group had any problems with that.

It was such a fun day.

I made some new friends, drank some great wine,
ate some delicious food, and laughed all day long.

It doesn't get much better than that!

Looks like a very fun time! I have never heard of Cards Against Humanity. Did Todd participate?? I am guessing "no" since there was no picture of him. Have y'all done any of the "Autumn To Do" stuff? AA

It was super fun, and no, Todd didn't go. I forget why, but I believe he had to do something. As far as the Autumn to do list....I've done one of the things, and Todd and I plan on doing another part of the list this weekend.
