Todd and I watched the niece and nephew play soccer this weekend.
It was AWESOME!
We forgot how nice it was to be out in the fresh air,
cheering on your family, being part of the "team"
(cheer team that is).
Unfortunately, both teams lost, but man did they look good playing.
Here are a couple of the highlights.
*Please forgive the blurry photos - I'm a little out of practice.
Brie plays on an under 13 girls select soccer team.
She got to play Goalie for half the game,
and forward for the other half.
She saved a goal in this picture.
Number 17 was really good,
but Brie managed to corral her out of the goal.
Way to go Brie.
Adam plays on an under 10 (or 11 or maybe 12) boys soccer team.
Adam took his warm ups seriously -
hands on hips and everything!
His team is coached by his dad.
They only had 9 players this game.
The played hard against the other team,
even though they had fancy Ed Grimly hairdos and everything.
Look, Adam kicked so hard it made the kid jump.
Can he get a What What!
Great job guys & gals.
We will have to plan on watching another game really soon.
Nothing like watching almost professionals play soccer.

Great post and pictures... I love the job you did:)
Thanks Dennis. I have a CD of more pics that I burned for Amy. She will actually have better pics than I posted. I'm a little sad that they turned out blurry. Not sure what I did wrong, but at least you can tell who they are and what they are doing.
