the song Thriller running through their brain?
Here's a little 80's throwback for you to enjoy.

Halloween Adult Beverages

Are you attending any Halloween parties this year?
Maybe you're throwing one.
Here are a couple idea for clever Halloween adult beverages.
I attached their links below each picture.

How cool is this drink?
It totally looks like blood that you inject
into your drink with a syringe.
Of course it's not, but what a cool creepy idea.

Candy corn jello shots are the best.
I actually had these last year at my
coworkers Halloween party
and I couldn't stop drinking/eating them.
Highly recommend if you like sweet beverages.

I included this picture because I thought it
looked really cool.  Very pretty and witch like.
It may end up tasting terrible, but man does it look pretty.
That's all that matters, right?

This drink is awesome.
I had no idea that they sold black hard liquor.
Very Halloween looking.

I loved the presentation of this drink.
The Hand coming out of the glass.
The steam, the skull on the front of the glass.
Apparently you put dry ice in this drink,
but I personally would not do that.
What if somebody knocked back a few
and then drank one with the active dry ice?
I would leave the dry ice out,
and keep the glass and the stir stick.

So, did you like any of the drink ideas?
Would you try them?
Do you have any go to Halloween
adult beverages you would like to share?

What Happens When Todd and I Go Shopping Together

You can't let Todd and I loose on the town together.
We can't control ourselves.
We are like two 12 year old children,
and not well behaved ones at that.

I like this pirates booty!

Boy I'm nosy!

No words...just bask in the awesomeness!

Todd, stop clowning around, we have errands to run.

I'm beary glad you stopped by to read my blog today.

Admit it, you want to go shopping with us now.

If you were wondering,
all mask and costumes are from Target.

Day In My Life

I wanted to change things up a bit,
so I decided to show y'all what a day
in my life looks like.
Not that it's super exciting, but I always
find post like this interesting, so I
thought I would share.

If this isn't your thing, feel free to catch
up on the next blog post.

Saturday, October 17th

7:30 AM - Wake up and take a shower so that
I can prepare to go into town and run some errands.

Dressed and ready to go.
Casual attire of Croc flats, skinny jeans and nice shirt
that my mother-in-law bought me for my birthday.

9:00 AM - Leave the house and get to the Post Office
before 10 AM to pick up packages
(My PO is only open 8 AM - 10 AM on Saturdays).

On my way to the post office by 8:58 AM -
Yeah me!

9:30 AM - Stop at Goodwill to drop off donations.
Also, shop inside their store
for an hour only to purchase nothing.

Our local Goodwill Store

10:30 AM - Stop at Target and get something to eat
and drink before I pass out.

Yummmers!  It's a Pumpkin Spice Latte
in an adorable cup.  I just love the Fall!

I purchased 3 t-shirts, and will be returning 2 of them.
I was too lazy to try the shirts on,
so 2 of the longer ones ($12/ea) I really wanted to fit are
WAY to tight on my chest.
#bigboobgirlproblems.
The other one that fits perfectly was $6.

11:15 AM - Leave Target and go to the next Post Office
that is actually open for business and not just parcel pick up.
Mail out my parent's mail.

11:30 AM - Leave town and head back home.

12:00 PM - Arrive back home and proceed to do about
5 hours worth of chores.

I cleaned and scrubbed out the fridge.
I know it looks like a bachelor pad fridge right now.
I need to go shopping, but hey we have necessities
like fruit, wine and cheese ;)

I pulled out Halloween decorations,
and did a mediocre job at putting up some
Halloween decorations.
Note to self:  Buy some candy to put in bowls.

Thor isn't sure what to think about some
of the interactive decorations.

Got a little witches corner set up.

I found these cute pillows for cheap at Ross
about a month back.  I couldn't pass them up!

After cleaning and decorating I proceeded to mop the floors,
do laundry, change our bed linens and give the puppies baths.

5:30 PM - Todd arrives home from helping his brother
and sister-in-law with their new house, he showers
and cleans up and then we head out to date night.

6:00 PM - Head back to town for dinner and a movie.

6:30 PM - Start dinner and I have a delicious
Chicken Cobb salad, and Todd has steak and veggies.

7:30 PM - Head over to the movie theater.

7:45 PM - Arrive at movie theater for 8 PM showing and
find out that we looked up the wrong theater.  The show
we wanted to watch, The Martian, actually starts at 10 PM.
Todd and I say forget it because we don't want to hang
around town for an additional 2 hours and then get home
between 12:30 - 1:00 AM.  We decide to go back home.

8:15 PM - We get back home and call it a night.
Todd has to wake up somewhat early to go to his brother's
house again, and I still have plenty
of chores to do the next day.

8:30 PM - Start watching a movie in bed.

9:30 PM - I fall asleep.
Yes, I'm a total party animal.

I felt like it was a pretty productive day,
and I had fun running all my errands
and completing some of my chores.

So what do your weekends look like?
Anything like mine?

Adult Halloween Costumes

In the past I've blogged about children's Halloween costumes.
This year I decided to change it up a bit,
and I searched for adult costumes instead.

What do you think about Bigfoot?

No, what about the Iron Chef?

If that doesn't tickle your fancy,
you could always go as a 90's movie character

Or, you could be the game Operation.

If these costumes are to mild, and you
are looking for something a little creepier,
there is always this....

I think if I saw her in a dark alley,
I would turn and go the other way...
FREAKY!

If you are going to a party with a significant
other, and your looking for couples
costume ideas, you could be

Wilson and Chuck from Castaway.

There's also Jack & Coke if you wanted
a simple costume idea.

Are none of these costume ideas gonna work for
you because you have to dress up as a group,
I've got you covered boo.

You could go as Rock, Paper, Scissors.

And then there is always your favorite social media;
Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook.

Personally, I'm going for the scary
vibe this Halloween.
I'm not going to eat all day,
so I'm good and hangry.

And then I'm going to wear this.

Scary, right?

Wine With the Girls and then the Hubbys

A bunch of gals from work got together and
decided before school started that we
needed to go wine tasting.

There were quite a few of us so we rented a party bus.
It had strobe lights, a stripper pole, anything and
and everything you would imagine a party bus would have.
But we got it for two specific purposes.
First, we all fit in one vehicle,
Second, none of us were at risk of getting a dui.
Win, win.!

We made three different stops.

First stop was Too Good Winery
(I blogged about it before here).

My favorite thing about the place is the art,

and, of course, the cave.

Pretty cool, right?
The wine is ehhh...not my favorite.

Our second stop was Skinner Vineyards.
It was such a beautiful day,
and a beautiful venue.
It was so nice, in fact, I brought Todd back
there two weeks later.

Look at that view.
The wine is good, but my favorite was our last stop,

I was pretty much done for the afternoon when we arrived here.
By the time we got here, we had been out for 4 hours.
I wasn't going to wine taste at all,
but I caved, and boy am I glad I did.
It ended up being my very favorite.
I bought 2 bottles of sparkling wine,
one pomegranate and one almond.
Delicious!

After we were done wine tasting,
we all went back to April's house to meet up with
some of the husbands and boyfriends so we could eat
dinner and play Cards Against Humanity.

Never played?
Don't play it if you are shy, get offended easily,
or don't like being embarrassed.
Nobody in this group had any problems with that.

It was such a fun day.

I made some new friends, drank some great wine,
ate some delicious food, and laughed all day long.

It doesn't get much better than that!

Blanket Weather

I'm so excited!
It's finally blanket weather.

The best time of the year :)
