Austin's a Quarter of a Century Old!

My baby turned 25 a couple weeks ago!

I can't believe how fast time flies.

Seems like just yesterday I was chasing him

around the house and trying to tame

his monumental temper tantrums.

 

Thank goodness he turned into an incredible man.

(I was a little scared there for the first fifth of his life).

And because he is so awesome,

Todd and I had to go visit him on his birthday.

We told Austin we would take him out wherever

he would like to go for his birthday.

Out of all the places available to him, he chose Chili's.

It's a family favorite, and everyone can find

something they like there, so to him it was a no brainer.

We had a nice dinner and then visited Costco

so that we could go birthday shopping.

He ended up with a few things

(mostly his favorite foods),

and because we had groceries,

we immediately headed back to his apartment.

He opened a gift or two, and because he

prefers pie to cake, he had apple pie for dessert.

 

It was a quick trip, but the kids are in the middle of

school and both are working, so there wasn't too much

time to hang out and talk.

 

We were so happy that we got to celebrate with him

and enjoy the fantastic man that he has turned in to.

Gosh we love that kid!
