A Mother of A Weekend

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there. Hope you are having a wonderful day. I had an extra spectacular weekend; dinner out, movie, breakfast in bed, cards/gifts, and most of the family helping me with a project I'm wanting to complete before next month (Austin couldn't be there because he had to work). Yesterday I helped Todd move in to his new office. He was promoted to manager and hasn't had any extra time to transfer his stuff from his old cubby to his new office. We spent five hours cleaning, moving and tossing out garbage. It's been a super de duper fun and busy weekend...can't wait for the next one!

Super Awesome Weekend

I sure am enjoying this awesome weekend weather. Ran some errands on Saturday, and played on Sunday. Most of the fam went to Hennigsen Park, where Todd, the puppies and I walked a mile, or so, and Alexxa rode her bike and played soccer. There were quite a few people there taking advantage of the great weather. We had a great time. Here, take a look -

It was such a beautiful weekend, I hope next weekend is a repeat.

Yay-Soccer Again

So Lexx played in a 6 v 6 tournament at Sierra College last weekend. Her team won the whole thing. It was just so nice to get back out and watch Lexx playing again.

Spring Cleaning

Since it was such a nice weekend, I had to get outside for a little bit. I decided that I would clean up a couple of the planters and add a little color. Hopefully I don't kill them (which I am very good at).

Man, I love this time of year!

Slacker

Ya, I know, I'm a slacker. I haven't posted for a bit. Nothing is wrong, I'm not super busy, haven't been sick...just slacking. I'm allowed.

Anywho, here are the pictures from the St. Patty's Day cookies that I made. I was originally going to make cupcakes, but I gave the kids a choice and they prefered cookies. They didn't quite turn out like I wanted, but they worked (fact is, they are all gone). I tried to make a clover, but it turned out more like an amoeba with a tail. I didn't take pictures of my epic fail, and now there is no proof that it ever existed because I ate the whole darn thing. Nom nom nom!

Huge, green St. Patty's Day cookies.

Austin proving that the cookies were edible.

Owwweee....

My Momma got a little owee on her way home from Oregon this Thursday. She spun out and slid into the oncoming traffics emergency lane. Everything was okay until an 18 wheeler, who was going a little too fast, tagged her and did this

She's fine, but the car isn't. My parents are still waiting to hear about the damage.
