Our family gathered together this past weekend to
celebrate these outstanding men on their special day,
Father's Day.

It was decided that we would BBQ at Loon Lake.
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday,
but what we weren't aware of was that there
were high wind warnings.
The lake was pretty choppy, so our plans to kayak
kind of fell flat. We didn't let the wind put a damper
on the day though, we ate BBQ to our little
hearts content, and some of us napped.

We set up camp in a little cove area that
was surrounded by rocks.
This seemed to help cut down on the wind.

It was such a good time.
I love spending time with family,
and it makes it that much better when we
do an outing like this.
Is there any better way to celebrate dad's
than BBQing and being outdoors?
